My 10 Can not Live Without Items

I am a girl that requires a lot of products. It cost a lot to maintain a semi-appropriate look for the public. Face wash, shampoo, conditioner, face masks, hair products, and countless makeup items help me with that. But in a perfect world if I could just roll out of bed and be good to go, this is what I would need currently. This list was hard for me. I love my stuff, I have entirely way too much of it.

Will I get rid of it? Eh, probably not.

Have I taken over a storage room and my brother’s closet? Yup!

Do I feel bad about it? Eh, kind of but in my defense, I stopped growing (up and down) in 8th grade, so why get rid of stuff?

#1 Batiste Dry Shampoo

I have tried a few different dry shampoos. I don’t like to experiment too much because what if you use it once and hate it? Now you have a full bottle of product that you won’t use. And the few times I have tried different ones, I hated them. They all did not work with my hair. I love Batiste. They have so many fragrances to choose from that it is impossible not to find one you like. To use it, you just spray it on the root of your hair and let it absorb the oil before brushing or fluffing it out of your hair. My hair feels exactly the same as if I just washed it, not heavy at all.

#2 Pepperoncinis

I literally could not tell you why I have been so obsessed with pepperoncinis, specifically the Mount Olive Brand. I love them. It started over the summer. I wanted to snack on cheese, Pepperoni, and Pepperoncinis. Now almost a year later, I can’t stop eating them. I probably have them once a day. They are zero calories, so I don’t feel bad about it at all. I get a 6 pack of big jars at Walmart, and they are all gone in two weeks. I don’t know why, I honestly couldn’t tell you but I crave them all the time. Literally my favorite snack. Just one of my super weird cravings, hahaha.

#3 iPhone

Alright what Zillennial (Gen Z and Millenial it’s a thing look it up) isn’t attached to their phone? My communication, job searching, banking, shopping, entertainment is all on my phone. If I didn’t have it, I would definitely be lost. My laptop I love don’t get me wrong, but my phone holds a special place in my heart.

#4 Black Leggings - the 90 Degrees by Reflex  Superflex High Rise elastic-free Ankle legging

As a short girl (5 foot 2 inches and ¾) it’s been super difficult for me to find leggings that actually fit me, right. Almost all my leggings bunch up at my ankles and it honestly looks like I am wearing joggings. I have finally found the most comfortable leggings that actually aren’t too long. These leggings are amazing! They don’t have the hard waistband causing you pain for no reason. They are squat-proof and super soft. I love them so much I bought two pairs, and I will definitely be buying more. I find them all the time at Tj Maxx and Marshalls.

#5 Mascara - Black Brown

For some reason, I have always had in my head that with my blue eyes I should use brown-colored makeup products. Well, they don’t really sell brown mascara, so I go for brown-black. It’s been probably 10 years of me wearing makeup and nothing has changed. I still wear brown-black mascara. The only time I attempt to wear black mascara is when I wear false lashes. But I didn’t buy those mascaras, I normally use those free samples. Come to think of it those are pretty old, I should probably throw them out...

#6 Eyebrow Pencil

I have a funky eyebrow. I have had it my whole life it’s genetic thanks to my dad, my poor youngest brother has it on both eyebrows. If I get them done and trim them, you can’t even tell. Now that I am older, an eyebrow pencil does the trick every time. It looks like I got two cousins for eyebrows.

#7 White Converse

I am a basic girl, what can I say? I love my white converse. I wear them literally all the time. They are so easy to put on, and they look so effortless. Are my arches messed up? I don’t know, probably. Do I care? Well, kind of a little but I will do some therapy later on.

#8 Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer

Have you gotten this yet? It changed my life! I got one for my birthday back in November, and my hair has looked amazing ever since. I couldn’t tell you the last time I curled or straightened my hair. My hair is so long and soft and shiny, it looks amazing! And it takes me like 20 minutes maybe to dry my hair now. It’s so easy! I love using it!

#9 Hair Heat Protectant

I was/ am the type of person that will start to do something and then be too scared to stop doing it. Like for example, I have been using the John Frieda’s Frizz Eases for like 8 years now. I have no idea if it is working or not, I am just simply too scared of what my hair will look like without it. I use to be the same way with Heat protectant spray. I had no idea if it was working, until now! I ordered the Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Spray from Amazon, it had over 11,000 reviews and it has 4.5 stars. I literally bought it because the reviews said it smelled good. But yall, this stuff is amazing! My hair has never been this soft, this shiny, this healthy, and this long before. It does smell amazing, and it does an amazing job!

#10 Pimple Patches

  1. I have written in the past about my skincare journey. To sum it up, I’ve struggled and I’ve tried a lot of different products over the years. None have provided a quicker fix than Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch the Orginal. You put them on your pimple overnight and in the morning the patch has soaked up all the oil, I guess. I am super not sure how it works, but I love them!
